Ballet2Tone or Fitsteps

FitSteps is the result of a collaboration between ‘Strictly Come Dancing’s’ professional dancers Natalie Lowe and Ian Waite and Britain’s most successful swimmer Mark Foster.  It is a mix of the graceful steps of Ballroom and the up tempo steps of the Latin dances to create a really fun, energetic and effective way to stay fit.  It is the first time that classic Latin and Ballroom dances have been brought together with proven fitness techniques and principles to create not only a programme that can have extraordinarily wide appeal but one that also has the potential to make a real and lasting impact on the health of the nation.  For more information on Becky’s classes visit her website www.dance2tone.com

A great fitness activity designed to tone and sculpt the body using ballet technique

Ballet2tone is a completely different way of exercising using ballet movements to create many different exercises throughout the class. The intensity of the exercises gradually build as the movements become bigger and more elevated with the main focus being to tone, sculpt and condition the entire body.

Throughout the class, the whole body will be engaged in movement, even the feet. Using a dancers technique, we can develop a sleeker, stronger and more flexible physique.

Ballet2tone classes are a great way to improve your strength stability, flexibility, co-ordination & balance using every muscle. The free combined workshop for adults incorporating both FitSteps & Ballet2tone will take place at the United Reform Church 3pm on Saturday 17th September if you would like to come and have a go.
