Where: Paolinos

When: 8-10pm, Saturday 17th September

Fable 44 began in 2009 in Malaga when Sharon, singer/songwriter/pianist and Alvaro, drums. formed a group that played in the South of Spain in various venues including the Marbella Arts Festival and Temple Garden.  One of the tracks from the album “Forbidden Lake” won a prize at Malaga University for best composition in 2009.

FABLE44 Sharon

Sharon and Alvaro came back to the UK in June 2011 and have recently, with the help from Matt Farrugia,  finished a new mini album entitled “On The Inside” which, in-keeping with the mood of the original group, takes a look at ´The Self ´ in a humble and truth- searching way.

Sharon is originally from Birmingham but now lives in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.  She studied classical piano as a child and soon began singing and writing songs. After touring extensively with different groups, she began creating and developing her own music, writing her first album in 1992 which was funded by ´Madrid Cultural 1992 ´ a part of ´La Comunidad De Madrid´. She became interested in philosophy and has an open questioning of the truth which inspired many poems that were then put into songs, the beginnings of  Fable 44.
