James Winspear will have an exhibition showing a mixture of his editorial portraits and family shoots in the United Reform Church on September 17th.
James has been photographing people, interiors and places since he graduated with a degree in photography from the London College of Communication in 1997.
Since then he has photographed artists, athletes and entrepreneurs. His work has been published in Elle, The New York Times, ICON, The Times, Saturday Telegraph Magazine and, most recently, Vanity Fair. James lives with his partner Emma, their two lovely children; Lily and William and crazy Springer, Max in the peaceful village of Lindfield, West Sussex.
His approach to wedding photography is relaxed and informal. Being discreet and unobtrusive always works best and enables him to capture natural moments as they happen. He works in a documentary style, but he is equally happy setting up group photographs and always look forward to capturing the full story of a couples wedding day.
As a father of two, James knows just how important it is to capture those fleeting childhood moments and memories before they fade. His approach to family photography is relaxed, informal and fun in order for him to capture natural moments as they happen.
